MANILA, Philippines - After a series of qualifying rounds in the provinces, the P15 million FIGBA Bullang Bullang 11-Bullstag derby goes to the Roligon Mega Cockpit beginning Saturday with a huge field expected to clash for top honors.
The other derby dates are on April 25 for the 3-Bullstag national elims with the semifinals and finals slated on April 29 and May 6, respectively.
No entry fee is required for participants who have joined the national elims of Bakbakan at Roligon last year, according to FIGBA (International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders Associations) president Ricoy Palmares Jr. Re-entry fee is pegged at P4,400 and P8,800 for new entries.
Up for grabs is P6 million for the champion with runner-up getting P300,000. Participants with 10 points win P1M, 9 pointers P1.5M, any 8 points P2M, any 7 points P3M, straight 6 points P1M, handler P150,000 and gaffer P50,000.
