ASEAN Task Force, 50% na ang tagumpay - Bato

MANILA, Philippines — Nasa mahigit 50% na ang tagumpay ng ASEAN Task Force 2017 kaugnay ng pangangalaga sa seguridad sa ginaganap na ika-31stASEAN Summit sa bansa.

Ito ang inihayag kahapon ni PNP Chief P/Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa matapos nitong pangunahan ang pagi-inspeksyon sa hanay ng security forces kasama si National Capital Region Police Office chief at ASEAN Task Force Metro Manila Commander P/Director Oscar Albayalde.

Kabilang sa ininspek­syon ng mga opisyal ay ang CDM contingents na naka-deploy sa kahabaan ng Edsa Extension sa San Juan de Dios at Heritage Hotel; Edsa Rotonda Taft Avenue; Buendia-Taft Ave­nue, Quirino-Taft Avenue at TM Kalaw sa lungsod ng Maynila.

Sinabi ni dela Rosa na sa pagitan ng ratio na 1-10 ay nasa 9 ang grado na natugunan ng CDM contingents ng ASEAN 2017 Task Force sa pangangalaga sa seguridad ng mga lider ng mga bansa, delegado at maging ng mga VIPs na dumadalo sa ASEAN Summit na magtatapos ngayong araw.

Ipinagtanggol naman ni dela Rosa ang paggamit ng PNP ng supersonic weapon ng mga pulis para pigilan ang mga bayolenteng raliyista na makalapit sa Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) sa mismong pinagdarausan ng event sa Metro Manila. Aniya, nakahanda sila sa anumang imbestigasyon sa paggamit ng PNP contingents ng supersonic weapons at water cannons upang pigilan ang mga bayolenteng raliyista.
